The acting Commissioner of the Royal Grenada’s Police force, Mr. Don McKenzie has confirmed, they were contacted in reference to the $100,000 US dollars reward offered by known international celebrities to find the murderer of Josiah “Jonty” Robinson, but the have also declared they have no control over the monies. The commissioner noted, they were contacted by someone acting on behalf of US film maker and actor Tyler Perry and Grenadian born, Yvette Noel-Schure, in reference to the matter and indicated their intent in assisting the RGPF to resolve the murder case. He noted that there was a murder case and it will not be left unsolved and they would do what it takes to bring closure to the case. Josiah, was found dead on BBC beach, a well known beach on the south of the island in the early morning of June 18th, 2023.
