Every primary and secondary school across Grenada, Carriacou and Petite Martinique is invited to show how we can grow local food, protect the harvest and nourish tomorrow.
What could your school do to make Grenada’s food future stronger? Entries should be rooted in local life and led by students, with a teacher serving as the school coordinator.
Create an original poster showing one idea to grow food, reduce waste or protect the harvest in your community. Add a short explanation in the pupils’ own words.

Present one practical idea for Grenada’s food future: a visual concept board and a short written explanation of the problem, solution and how it could work locally.

Primary and secondary schools will each have a first, second and third place. Prize packages and presenting sponsors will be announced as they are confirmed. Citysound and each presenting sponsor will visit winning schools to present the awards.

Winning teams and schools will be celebrated on Citysound 97.5 FM and across our campaign channels, subject to school and parent or guardian media consent.
A principal or designated teacher signs in to MY CITYSOUND and completes the school registration form below. Please use an adult coordinator account.
We will share the final entry instructions, deadline, judging rubric and consent details with school coordinators before submissions open.
Schools select their team entry and submit through the official route in the brief. We will spotlight school ideas around World Food Day on 16 October.
Registration opens today, 24 September 2026. An adult principal or designated teacher should sign in or create a MY CITYSOUND account, then complete this form. Registration expresses interest; the entry deadline and final submission instructions will be sent to school coordinators.
We’re inviting businesses and community partners to present prizes and support schools across all three islands. Six award places are available for sponsorship. Sponsor recognition and prize contents will be agreed before announcement.
This is an independent Citysound Cares school competition. FAO also runs a separate international World Food Day poster contest. Schools may review FAO’s official contest rules independently; entering this Citysound challenge does not enter the FAO contest.
